What do the different paint sheens mean?

Paint sheens range from the lowest light reflection to the highest: flat, matte or eggshell, satin, semigloss, and high gloss. Every paint manufacturer names sheens differently, so one company's satin may be closer to another's eggshell. The only way to know for sure is to see the actual paint sample.

What are the advantages of flat-sheen paints?

Color has a more uniform look with less light reflection. Flat sheens don't show wall imperfections as much, and they are less likely to show touch-ups. The tradeoff: they are not as scuff resistant.

Do you need a deposit?

Yes. To get a place on the job calendar, we need a 20% scheduling deposit.

Sand all walls to take out noticeable nail and screw pops and nail hole patches. Sand and clean glossy surfaces and trim for proper adhesion. Cut out cracking caulk on trim edges and replace it with elastomeric caulk. Fill crown molding joints with wood filler and sand them smooth.

Daily setup and cleanup. Our team cleans up all areas daily, keeping work areas free from job-related debris, tools, and equipment.
